Delete your Dream Catcher account

This page is for the Dream Catcher Android app. You can delete the account in the app, or from here if you no longer have the app installed.

In the app

  1. Open Dream Catcher and sign in.
  2. Open Profile.
  3. Choose Delete account, then confirm.

The account is deleted then. You are signed out.

Without the app

  1. Use the same email address that is on the Dream Catcher account.
  2. Email [email protected] with the subject “Delete my Dream Catcher account”.
  3. We delete that account within 30 days. We write back if we cannot match the address to an account.

Deleted

Your name, email, password hash, mood notes, and life story. Dreams, recordings stored on our service, transcripts, questions and answers, readings, memory notes, and Keep talking messages. Rewarded-ad records and the Dream Catcher+ rows we stored for the account. Staff notes that contained your name.

Kept

  • Model-use rows can remain with your account removed from them. They keep the provider, model name, token counts, and cost. They do not keep the dream text.
  • An exploration already emailed to you stays in that mailbox.
  • Google Play keeps its own purchase record. Deleting the Dream Catcher account does not cancel Dream Catcher+. Cancel the subscription in Google Play: Play Store → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions.
  • Google may keep advertising data collected by AdMob under Google’s policies.
